We’ve been working incredibly hard to add accreditations and certifications to our trophy cabinet, it’s great to see how far we have come.

Carbon Neutral Britain – Ensuring we do our bit for the planet

At Service Innovation Group, we’re always looking to push our boundaries and grow both internally and externally. With this said, we’re proud to announce four new accreditations for the 2022 and 2023 years.

First and foremost Service Innovation Group believes in taking care of our planet, we only get one and therefore we place our ethics and values towards caring for it at the forefront of what we do. To be sure that we’re not a nuisance to our world, we teamed up with Carbon Neutral Britain which is the UK’s Carbon Offsetting Initiative – helping British Individuals and Businesses make an impact on Climate Change. We’re proud to hold this badge as one of our accreditations and certification and keep pushing for a greener planet.

This initiative is based on the process of offsetting carbon emissions, which can be achieved via the plan below.

EcoVadis – The World’s Most Trusted Business Sustainability Ratings

Whilst working with Carbon Neutral Britain, Service Innovation Group took the initiative of also being graded for a sustainability rating. It was clear to us that although we were doing our bit, feedback is the only way to improve our situation and be the most sustainable business possible.

We have achieved a Silver rating through EcoVadis for our efforts in sustainability and a healthier planet for all. This is a great certification to add to the collection as it allows us to plan for an even more sustainable business in the future years.

EcoVadis rate businesses based on Environmental, social, and ethical performance – or Sustainability – it is an essential factor for smart business today. More and more companies, including your trading partners, are under immense pressure to improve their transparency and sustainability practices, which is why we enlisted their help.

The next step is a gold rating to add to our accreditations and certifications, which we are working hard towards every day.

SafePQQ – Ensuring the health and safety of everyone we interact with

As a SafePQQ contractor, we are accredited through the UK-leading health and safety accreditation which has helped contractors to enhance their reputation for health and safety and win more work for over 20 years. As a founding SSIP member, SafePQQ have helped thousands of contractors to achieve health and safety best practice, and to win work with some of the UK’s leading organisations in the manufacturing, construction and property management sectors.

Service Innovation Group believe in a people first mentality, which is why we work alongside Safe Contractor to uphold to the highest best working practices for health and safety. Our people are our passion and without them, we simply wouldn’t function. It is only right that we ensure their safety and happiness each and every day at work.

This accreditation was specifically important during the covid19 pandemic to ensure we did everything possible to protect our colleagues, families and the general public.
